Using Floating Player For Youtube

Download and install this application on your Android device.
Once open, click on the magnifying glass at the top right to search for the video or song you would like to listen to in the background.
Once found, click on it.
Now click on the icon at the top right next to the magnifying glass and go to your device's home page. As you can see, a floating icon will appear that you can move around the edges of your screen as you wish.
To reopen the video just click on the icon again.

Using Stream

Download and install on your device this application.
Once opened, go to the magnifying glass and search for the video or music you want to listen to in the background.
Once you have found it, click on it to start playback.
As you can see, a floating window will appear that you can move on your screen as you wish .
Compared to the previous application, Stream offers a very attractive and easy to use graphical interface. You can also create a playlist by simply going to the 3 dots placed in part of the video and "Add to playlist".

Using Floating Tube - Background player application

Download and install on your device this application .
Once opened you will be shown the youtube home. All you have to do is search for the video or song you would like to play in the background and click it.
Once clicked, a window with the video currently playing will appear at the top left. Going to the home of your device, you will also notice an icon above the video. To hide the video simply click that icon and to view it, click it again. If you want to stop playing, just drag the icon onto the "X" at the bottom of your phone screen.
