It is a distribution oriented towards simplicity, but at the same time also towards minimalism, also thanks to the scarce possibility of graphic customization, based on the LTS versions of Ubuntu, of which it uses the repositories, plus other specific ones. Peculiarity is the use of a specially created desktop environment, called Pantheon, a modified version of GNOME 3. It also features many specially developed applications, such as AppCenter (replacing the Ubuntu Software Center from the 0.4 Loki release). Files (the file manager), Birdie (an instant messaging client), and Screenshots (for capturing desktop screenshots). In addition to using GTK, many parts of the distribution are written in Vala. It also supports PC booting with UEFI bios, introduced with version 0.3. Graphically it presents a desktop similar to that of Mac OS X , presenting at the bottom a dock bar called plank (a simplified version of docky which represents the main part of the latter project), and a status bar located by default at the top of the screen, Wingpanel. As installer it uses Ubiquity, while as window manager it uses Gala, a modified version of Mutter. The operating system can be run directly by booting it in Live CD mode (albeit with a loss of performance), thus allowing users to test the distribution and possibly find hardware incompatibilities or lack of drivers before starting the installer. The distribution can reside on a DVD, and requires a minimum of 1 Gigabyte of RAM, and downloadable via HTTP and torrent.
A computer with a recent 64-bit Intel Core i3 processor or comparable dual-core 64-bit processor
4 GB of memory for 32-bit and 64-bit systems
At least 15 GB free on the hard drive
No changes or patches added.
If your PC does not meet the minimum requirements you can still do a clean installation of Windows 11 by following this guide
Once you have downloaded all the parts that make up the file:
Verify that all the files that make up the multi-volume RAR archive are located in the same folder
Right click on the archive file with the lowest number (eg xxxx_Mondo-Tech.part01.rar) and select the item Extract files from the context menu.
In the window that appears, then indicate the path where you want to save the file once it has been assembled and extracted (using the Destination Path field at the top ) and click on the OK button, to start the procedure. Next, you will find the file that was contained in the archive in the location you indicated above.
