macOS 10.12 "Sierra" (named after the Californian mountain range of the same name) is the thirteenth version of the macOS operating system developed by Apple Inc., the first to be called "macOS" instead of "OS X". It was officially presented to the public by Craig Federighi on June 13, 2016 in San Francisco, during the Apple WWDC. The first developer beta was released on the same day as the presentation. The final version was published on September 20, 2016.
Features The main novelty concerns Siri which debuts on the Mac, with new functions dedicated to macOS. The new operating system interacts with iCloud and Apple devices in many new ways and with more usable and interactive applications.
Design The design of the Notification Center has been redesigned, taking the style of the one on iOS 10. The Photos application now creates daily souvenir videos, grouping certain photos and automatically inserting a song appropriate to the context. There is a new section for managing faces and organizing them according to the person. In addition, each photo and video is analyzed by tracking objects, panoramas and situations in such a way as to search for a photo or video through a certain object within it. The Messages application implements all the iMessage novelties added with iOS 10. ITunes has also been redesigned to make it easier to use. The lyrics of the songs have also been added.
Memory Management A new system memory management panel is now available, which can automatically archive the oldest and least used files and attachments to iCloud. You can also empty the trash periodically and delete previously viewed iTunes movies. With macOS Sierra, you can upload all documents and your desktop to iCloud, so you can access them from any device.
Integration with other devices Another important change is the ability to unlock the Mac through the Apple Watch (with watchOS 3 or higher) if the two-factor authentication of the Apple ID account is enabled. Documents, texts, photos and videos that are copied to the iPhone or iPad can be instantly copied to the Mac (or vice versa) through the use of Bluetooth technology.
Other Picture in Picture video playback mode is now available for more platforms and sites. The ability to open multiple third-party application tabs has been added, without programmer intervention. Since version 10.12.4, Night Shift has been added, which allows you to shift the screen color to warmer tones to avoid tiring the eyes during the night; this feature was already introduced with iOS 9.3. Furthermore, again in this version of macOS, the File system is converted from HFS Plus to APFS, as in iOS 10.3 for mobile devices from Apple.
Once you have downloaded all the parts that make up the file:
Verify that all the files that make up the multi-volume RAR archive are located in the same folder
Right click on the archive file with the lowest number (eg xxxx_Mondo-Tech.part01.rar) and select the item Extract files from the context menu.
In the window that appears, then indicate the path where you want to save the file once it has been assembled and extracted (using the Destination Path field at the top ) and click on the OK button, to start the procedure. Next, you will find the file that was contained in the archive in the location you indicated above.
